"Blessed are they that hear the word of God and keep it"
Luke 11:28

March 18, 2020

In response to the quickly changing status of the situation surrounding the spread of Covid-19 we have made the difficult decision to temporarily suspend our public gatherings for worship services and ministry events. For the foreseeable future our church building will not be in use, but thankfully the Church exists with a profound presence outside of these 4 walls.

As each of us takes the necessary precautions to limit the spread of this virus, we want to ensure that people are still cared for well and that ministry one to another continues in creative and Spirit empowered fashion. While we won’t be meeting together as a larger group, we do encourage you to remain connected with one another through social media, phones and where appropriate in limited small groups.

Please use caution to help protect the most vulnerable amongst us and ask God to give you eyes to see how a door of opportunity may open for you to care for others well in this time. I believe there will be many who are unsettled, anxious and who will be looking for words of comfort, prayer and perhaps some direction as to where they might turn for strength and confidence. This is our opportunity to testify to the greatness of our God and point others to His saving grace as well.

You can find the latest information regarding this situation on the government of Saskatchewan’s website at or at the health authorities website at:

For the next number of weeks, we will be hosting a Facebook Live message on Sunday mornings at 10am and encouraging our congregation to tune in to this feed. You may choose to connect with another family and pray together and discuss the message. Also, assuming you are healthy, you may want to connect with others whom you know may not have access or knowledge on how to join with us. This can be a great opportunity for you to build relationship and be instrumental in meeting the spiritual needs of family and friends during this time. Once again, limit the number of people meeting and follow all appropriate hygiene and social distancing recommendations.

We also want to ensure that while people practice “social distancing” to manage risk, we don’t want people to grow discouraged and disconnected. Pray and ask the Lord how He may desire to use you to build connections with others in ways that you may not have considered before.

The Lord bless you and keep you as you join us in learning new ways to sacrifice and serve one another in these challenging times.
